~French of the Day~Posted on September 7th, 2007 @ 5:44 pm

(which means hi) Today I had french again! Here’s the lesson.
Greeting People and Saying Goodbye.
Bonjour –> Hello! Salut! –> Hi or Goodbye! Au Revoir! –> Goodbye A Tout a l’heure! –> See you later! A bientot. –> See you soon. A demain. –> See you tomarrow. Tchao! –> Bye! Madame –> Ma’am ; Mrs. Mademoiselle –> Miss Monsier –> Mr ; Sir
So that’s it for that section. So and example would be,
- Bonjour Madame! A bientot. –> Hello Ma’am! See you soon.
Asking how people are they and telling how you are.
(Comment) ca va? –> How’s it going? Ca Va. –> Fine. Super! –> Great! Tres bien. –> Very well. Comme ci Comme ca. –> So-so. bof. –> (expression of difference). Pas mal. –> Not bad. Pas terrible –> Not so great. Et toi? –> And you?
So, thats it for now… Try to start a conversation with your friends or family! I’m sure you have a great time! =D
Tomarrow’s Entry: Undicided =[
