Greeting People and Saying Goodbye.

  • Bonjour –> Hello!
  • Salut! –> Hi or Goodbye!
  • Au Revoir! –> Goodbye
  • A Tout a l’heure! –> See you later!
  • A bientot. –> See you soon.
  • A demain. –> See you tomarrow.
  • Tchao! –> Bye!
  • Madame –> Ma’am ; Mrs.
  • Mademoiselle –> Miss
  • Monsier –> Mr ; Sir

    • So that’s it for that section. So and example would be,

    • Bonjour Madame! A bientot. –> Hello Ma’am! See you soon.

    Asking how people are they and telling how you are.

  • (Comment) ca va? –> How’s it going?
  • Ca Va. –> Fine.
  • Super! –> Great!
  • Tres bien. –> Very well.
  • Comme ci Comme ca. –> So-so.
  • bof. –> (expression of difference).
  • Pas mal. –> Not bad.
  • Pas terrible –> Not so great.
  • Et toi? –> And you?
